protecting and conserving our natural
hardwood resources.
We start by ensuring that the lumber we purchase meets our
specifications and originates from managed forests. With every
board that is processed, we are continuously striving to get the
highest yield from the usable lumber.
In our plant we have computerized
optimization equipment to ensure the best possible yields from
raw materials while conserving one of our greatest resources, hardwood forests. Aamodt’s Millwork &
Cabinetry is proud that every material purchased goes to
productive use.
With our cabinetry, we are promoting the
sustainability of our natural resources for future
generations through our process of eliminating the
unnecessary hardwood of the old style, face frame
cabinets. Waste products which are generated by
our equipment are reused and recycled. The wood waste is
reused for heating fuel and the sawdust becomes animal
bedding at area farms.
